Pintererst Inspiration- Pink & Grey

Posted on: January 2, 2013

Blush is not my colour but wearing it WITH colours that are really helps.

This is Angie who has a fabulous website and forum for the fashion obsessed (like me)…

If you have any fashion questions the women in the forum’s at YOU LOOK FAB  and Angie herself are extremely helpful.

I bought this faux leather moto jacket from Ebay to replace my favorite blush one that I wore like crazy for two years.  It became too big after the first 20lbs weight loss when fall weather hit and I mourned the loss of that jacket.  This color is not quite the shade as my previous one and it really took me some time to get over that it wasn’t quite the blush color I so desired.  I am over it now and love this replacement.

IMG_1326I went with grey and charcoal rather than the black that Angie did and I have to say I love it.  I use to wear a lot of pink and grey when I was in high school.  In fact one guy nick named me “Pinkie” .   He wasn’t too knowledgeable  about fashion and considered my love of burgundy and purple to be included in the pink color… In retrospect it was just his way of getting my attention, but I just thought he wasn’t too bright…

IMG_1308We are on our way out to go find my husband a new pair of jeans.  We actually hit the jackpot and he picked out three pairs. We went to Burlington Coat Factory and he got all three pairs for $50!     He never gets more than one… I think I am beginning to rub off on him.

Dear Reader, I hope you all had a wonderful New Years!  And as always,  your comments are welcomed and appreciated

Gratitude:  I am grateful for being invited to the beach house for a fun filled New Years filled with music, friends and laughter!! I am grateful to my husband for cooking dinner last night.  I am grateful that my husband and daughter had time without the boys to just sit and watch a movie to together last night.  I am grateful for the time away from work that my husband took, and all six of us spending time together .

Grey and pink is always one of my favorite color combinations. 😉

Thank you, funny that grey scarf was among the first in my collection started last year and was purchased at my grocery store of all places for just $6.99

I love that moto jacket, and weightloss is such a fun reason to have to buy something new! I’ve been looking for the perfect moto jacket to add to my closet. Might have to check out eBay now.
