Family Gratitude

Posted on: February 3, 2013

When my kids were younger we would have weekly meetings and pass around notebooks writing one thing we were grateful for about each member in their notebook.  We would then get our own notebook back and read and talk about them.. It was a wonderful bonding time. My regular readers know that I post my gratitude list daily on my blog and will understand why this was so inspirational to me.

I literally squealed with delight when I was reading H & K Style Journey’s blog today and saw this:

Couples could use something like this one pictured above, but I think like a mother of four and remember Heather’s previous post using this frame from Walmart and want to run out right now and get started on making one… thank  you for the inspiration, Heather!!! A side note, early in my marriage I cut up red and pink hearts and would  write reasons and things I love about my husband and gave them to him for Valentine’s Day… I added to it for years, not so much now, but maybe time to restart that!

However, reality struck and I have other things to do today , but I may just fit it  in, after all It is Super Bowl Sunday and I love doing two things at once, so perhaps I could gather the things and put this together tonight… Whenever I get it done I will post photos.

I Hope this inspires you to spread love and gratitude to your family today!

Thanks for Stopping by and my apologies for not posting a weekly look with my red-orange jeans.  i just got too excited over the warm front that dropped by and the chance to wear dresses and skirts.

Aww Tracey, I am so glad you liked this! It’s important to keep a relationship strong and just doing little things like this for me is important. I hope to see your project posted soon! Heather
