Grand Cayman Vacation
Posted March 3, 2013
on:Our vacation was absolutely wonderful with quality time alone as well as fun with a wonderful group of people. We relaxed on the beach, went on a jet ski and snorkeling safari, shopped in Georgetown (capital), dined and danced on the beach, partied in hotel suite (security called three times), witnessed a marriage proposal, and hit a local bar for late night dancing.
What I wore on the first evening to a cocktail and dinner party with the entire group of close to 60 of us!
Best part of the entire vacation was seeing my hardworking husband relaxing and having fun!
Dress I bought in the hotel store and love because it can be worn 8 different ways including as a skirt! Notice my sunburned feet!
Photo graciously taken by the doorman of the hotel.
Dinner in the sand and dancing afterwards in my bare feet! Earlier that day we had done the jet skis and snorkeling, that combined with dancing in the sand, followed by dancing late night at the club resulted in aches and pains the next day and the realization that I felt my age for the first time! Everyone who rode the jet skis was sore the following day!
Tucked away in the corner of the hotel lobby!
Right before our lovely company dinner on the beach, complete with tikki torches and beach music.
These are all photos of what I wore in the evenings as they were all on my good camera. We have more photos on my husband’s cell phone when we took our day trip into Georgetown and then the underwater camera for our snorkeling adventures. I will post more once we get those together…
Dear Readers, I loved my vacation and came home very exhausted and shocked at returning to cold temperatures. I hibernated the first day, not wanting to venture out into the cold. Depending on the weather coming from Canada we could actually see some snow coming mid-week…
Linking Up With Visible Monday, & Watch What I’m Wearing, so go check out the lovely ladies!
Gratitude: I am grateful to my husband for all his hard work that made our vacation possible. I am grateful that we were able to set up Skype and contacted the boys twice each day. I am grateful to the owners of my husband’s company for providing us this amazing trip. I am grateful to all the c0-workers and family members who shared in the laughter and fun. I am grateful that my daughter is home for Spring Break. I am grateful that my children helped clean up the kitchen and my 17 year old Nicholas for giving me a break by cooking dinner Sunday night!

What a wonderful getaway. You look radiant, and not just from the sun.
