Remix Challenge Day 5

Posted on: March 15, 2013

First a reminder of yesterday’s Look where I got rid of the neutrals and added in bright color…

For Today’s look I carried over the jean jacket… I know too easy, but there is an important reason I needed easy..

I needed to create an outfit today that would allow me to move towards my St. Patrick’s Day outfit in just one day.. I know there are actually two days until the 17rh, but I plan on posting My Lucky Find’s on Saturday as I am very happy with them…

IMG_2617I know these two poses are very similar, but my photo session didn’t turn out very well and I didn’t feel like trying to re-do it…So managing with what I have that didn’t have funny faces or my hair sticking up in weird ways..

My blouse and jean jacket here are both thrifted and my jeans are by Diane Gilman… Each time I wear these my husband compliments them, but I know he just finds the zippers all the way up the side of each leg sexy…  Here is a link to Diane Gilman Jeans via HSN that are all priced under $50. I highly recommend you read the reviews regarding her jeans to see what all the fuss is about.   The Aigner booties were a fabulous clearance find for $9.99 and super comfortable…. The purse is Liz Claiborne NY via Qvc ( no longer available as I was lucky enough to get it on clearance).  This bubble scarf is also from QVC and available Here and in new spring colors Here.

Dear Readers, I hope you explore the links above to some fabulous jeans and scarfs.  Remember I receive no compensation for these recommendations and only do so because they are things I love and have bought many of over the last few years. Please stop by tomorrow to see MY LUCKY FINDS and my special Sunday post for my St, Patrick’s Day Look…

Gratitude:  I am extremely grateful for a smooth and productive homeschooling day, hard getting back into it after my vacation and the week we took off  to enjoy Ashley’s college Spring Break.  I am grateful that my husband didn’t have a lead until later and got some much needed extra sleep.  I am grateful for the beautiful memories of my mother that are swirling around me today, the four year anniversary of her passing.   I am grateful for the wonderful conversation with my daughter last night where we talked about everything from social awkwardness to mourning  and so much in between.

I love a good jean jacket. It’s perfectly paired with your striped top and fun scarf!
