My Lucky Finds & Closet Storage

Posted on: April 5, 2013

The past few  weeks I ventured on Ebay and found some great things and thought I would share them!

DKNY Vest -purchased via Ebay for $12.00 plus $4.00 shipping – knitted back which I love!

This one fits my desire to edge up my looks… This and my creme  moto vests are “sisters” in that goal!

Lace Vests via Ebay $6.97 free shipping – this one fits my feminine romantic side.

Denim & Co Vest via Ebay- $1.99 plus 5.99 shipping

This one is just for fun and I picture it with a tank and skirt, shorts or capris..

FRANCO-SARTO-Brown-Strappy-Sandal-Heels-Size-7-5

Franco Sarto via EBay  -$14.99 plus $5.99 shipping- brand new condition they have absolutely  no wear on bottoms...

FRANCO-SARTO-Metallic-Pewter-Strappy-Sandal-Heels-Size-7-5

Another pair of Franco Sarto- $15.25 plus 4.99 shipping

Looking for more summer shoes with edge as currently I have mostly ballet flats and wedged slingbacks. I think these two are a great start, but might want one more lighter pair and maybe something in black.  Not sure of the style but looking…

I spent the day redoing my shoe shelves and rearranging things for the Spring Season…

I have a nice walk-in close that my husband and I double hung a few years ago and bought this floor to ceiling shoe rack at Sam’s Club... My husband has three shelves on it for himself and other space under his hanging clothes.. I store out of season clothes under my hanging clothes on the bottom…In case you are wondering the closet is 8 feet long by 6 feet wide.  It isn’t wide enough for me to take any good shots of my side… I have tops and skirts on the bottom bar, jackets, dresses and pants on the top… I also have two hanging canvas cubbies like this hanging on the top for cardigans and one for jeans.  In addition there is a shelf on the lower bar where I store sweaters and t-shirts… My tank tops and short sleeve cardigans and boleros are on bookshelf outside my closet.. I AM SO READY FOR SPRING!

Dear Readers, I have gotten back on track exercising and am feeling it!  I love doing the ballet bar workout and some other toning with weights as I can feel it right away, which motivates me to do it more often…  I have about a month until my daughters graduation and hope to have made good progress by then… Making myself accountable through WW’s is what helped me get to this point and I hope making myself accountable to you my dear readers will take me to the finish line!  Thanks for your encouragement and kind words.  Have a Wonderful Weekend filled with fun, laughter, friends and family!

Gratitude:  I am grateful to my brother for finding the answer to my dryer dilemma  it was the outside vent that was clogged!  I am grateful to my 17 year old for baking banana bread for his first time and not letting them go to waste.  I am grateful  that I am feeling better and was energized to organize my shoes today.  I am grateful for youngest his patience and willingness to  look through my purses until he found the cash I misplaced… I am grateful that my husband had a small break today that allowed him to take Connor for a much needed haircut and his surprising me with a Chick Fil A sandwich for lunch.  I am grateful my readers who left comments that made me think and confirmed that I am making an impact!!!!

We are so on the same page with being ready for spring and wardrobe organization! 🙂
I LOVE those brown Franco Sarto’s!

Yes you are making an impact. Not only do I look forward to your fashion finds but also your sharing of your life and what you are grateful for. Reminds me to search for specific things to be grateful for. Also your Weight Watchers journey is inspiring. I was at my goal weight but have gained back 20 pounds. Yuk! Following your blog has made me realize that I need to get back on track. Thanks so much for faithfully posting even when you are not feeling well!

Thank you for commenting and letting me know the impact I am having… I hope you get back on track with the weight loss, there is nothing more important than getting honest with myself to get me back on track…

Your closet is amazing and organized! You found some great things too. I especially like the lace vest 🙂 Heather

Hi Tracey, so glad you’re feeling better. I love your closet! I started looking for vests after you gave me the idea a couple weeks ago. I found a beautiful tan colored crochet vest similar to yours, a green Coldwater Creek vest, and an Army green utility vest. Love them, thanks for the idea! I read a lot of blogs but usually just lurk without commenting, except on yours. I’m glad comments help encourage you, and I’ll keep them coming, because I really don’t think I would have lost these last 25 lbs without you. I found your blog at exactly the right time. Thank you so much. If you are ever in FL, I owe you a nice healthy lunch or dinner at the restaurant of your choice. 🙂

your comments are dear to me and I am so happy to be on this journey with you! Sounds like you got some great vests and a variety of types that will make a difference. The green utility vest is on my wish list…

I still have my winter things out. Waiting for spring! Love the shoe rack!!!

I have only tucked away the heaviest of sweaters… My boots are boxed but readily accessible… I hate being cold but a girl can dream…
