Pink Panther

Posted on: June 4, 2013

I know I just wore a pink Maxi dress, but hey I wasn’t called Pinkie in high school for no reason…. Actually the guy who called me that considered burgundy, and purple in his observations….

As I suspected yesterday, Today was a much better day , getting out to my WW meeting and going thrifting not to mention rocking my wedges put a bounce back in my step.  Yes, I said I went thrifting after declaring June a no buy month.  I had to take things back that I found for my daughter that she didn’t want… so of course I shopped…

I really wish I had started blogging two years ago as that was when I first began taking better care of myself despite not being ready to lose the weight and made some really great purchases that I wish I could share with you.  For instance this Liz Claiborne belt has an elastic back and holes to tie  any scarf into… It came with the scarf I am wearing and offers so much versatility for shorter scarfs.  This dress too was purchase during that time frame and I own 3 of them… The blue one is here.   Even my purse is awesome and has removable covers that you can replace with different ones, but that company is no longer in business. Feel like I’m teasing you…

When I looked in the mirror ,after putting on this soft all cloth headband (my newest accessories that I love!)  and my hoop earrings,  I said to myself and then aloud to my husband…:”I look like a gypsy!”  well at least Hollywood’s portrayal of them.  Isn’t it nice of me to humiliate myself and reveal such moments for your pleasure?  I’m generous that way and so is my husband for giving me his full permission to diclose his “Amish dress ” comment…

Dear Readers, What a difference a day makes!  We had sunshine and temperatures were not scorching in fact in the low 70’s!  So, do you have a color you seem to gravitate to more than others?  Did you recognize it on your own or have it pointed out to you?   Does that color change with the seasons?

Thinking of a new haircut, what do you think of  this one?

I think that the haircut would definitely suit you. I loved it when my hair was shorter, but it’s so much work keeping it trimmed every few weeks.

The dress is a great color on you and I love the belt with the scarf. That is really cool! Heather

Love the outfit

I love pink! it’s such a great color and so flattering.
The short cut is really cute, go for it!

If you have a colour you like stick with it! Thanks for linking up! Be sure to grab the badge and comment 🙂
