Sunshine Makes Me Happy!

We are due for clouds and rain again but for today we had a beautiful Sunny day in the 70’s and I dressed to show my appreciation for the Sunshine!
I should have named this outfit , Jingle- Jangle Boho Chic…. The shirt is decorated with little metal pieces that jingle when I dance and my bangle bracelest join the chorus…
While I love the sun, I also love the shade this tree offers most of my front yard. The temperature change between the full sun and the shade of this tree was amazing.
As a child of the 70’s I am going back to my youth and listening to John Denver’s Sunshine on My Shoulders while typing this post. Gotta love this YouTube generation and what is at your fingertips…
Dear Readers, Do you ever find inspiration for outfits based on the weather? I traditionally have worn brights to combat the bad weather, but this is my first time celebrating good weather…. Like this feeling just as much, but there really is that rebel in me that likes to snub the cloudy days…
Gratitude
I am grateful for my father’s legacy living on in my children…. you see my father use to make these wonderful stuffed burgers with stuffing and brown gravy that I make for my children and I had a Spirit Soaring moment when my daughter informed me that she made it quite often while away at college!
I am grateful for the moment when I told my daughter that she made my Spirti Soar and the pride in her face and smiled that beamed across her face.
I am grateful that there is only one week of school left for my 17 year old when I won’t have to nag him to go to bed and the freedom summer brings to our family.
I am grateful for Taco night and the silliness of my children in the kitchen while I was cooking.

Love the yellow and blue, Tracey.
You have reminded me that when my husband and I were dating long distance (after meeting on eHarmony)…and we knew we were going to get married…for his birthday, over the phone, I sang this John Denver song to him….because he had sang me a song once. It’s now kind of embarrassing. Oh the crazy things we do in the midst of new love. haha
Ohhh…and I later found out he really is not a fan of John Denver music. lol

Such a great memory. Thanks for sharing it! That reminds me of when my husband was dating and he went to a Rebe McEntire concert with me when he hates country music…
