Graphic Print Skirt and Olive T-Shirt
Posted July 10, 2013
on:I’ve worn this skirt before and love the navy and white graphic design. Today I paired it with a new LizWear t-shirt I picked up at BJ’s on Monday…..
I love the square neckline and crochet detail at the neckline on this t-shirt that was just $10. I love those extra details in tops instead of just a basic t-shirt. This New York and Company thrifted skirt has a higher waist and I didn’t like the shirt tucked at all so opted to wear it out with a scarf belt in navy and olive floral print.
I have quite a collection of purses these days, but this navy one by Stone Mountain has a special place in my heart as it was my first one I purchased when I decided I was ready to begin healling from my mother’s sick years and mourning her passing. It is a symbol of my awakening and embracing my life more fully.
Today was weigh in day, but I didn’t make it to my Weight Watcher meeting , as I woke up at 4 am with messed up sinuses and sneezing. It took until after noon before I got it cleared up. The good news is that even with all my eating out over the holiday weekend and going out with friends and having a few drinks, that I gained a insignificant .2lbs. I call that a success!
Dear Readers, I hope you are all having a great summer and staying cool. You will see me wearing a lot skirts as they are a favorite summer look for me. I am really looking forward to this weekend where we have plans Friday night with friends and Saturday night when my husband has agreed to go down to the oceanfront and for music and dancing the night away..
