My Lucky Finds

Posted on: July 10, 2013

These are my recent purchases, none of which are thrifted…

I loved this shade and the neckline detail of this t-shirt that I like to refer to as Peacock color.  I found this at BJ’s for $12.99

This is the second LizWear T-shrit I purchased at BJ’s along with the olive one worn yesterday… for just $10 at BJ”s

I love the ease and versatility of a good t-shirt dress and this Calvin Klein from Burlington Coat Factory for just $24.99  was a real score in my world! This will be multi- seasonal and a great layering piece.

This sheer blouse with roll tab sleeves and the tie at the waist was just $7.98 on clearance at Burlington.

This is my new faux leather grey jacket I found at Wilson’s when I went to Williamsburg Prime Outlests for clearance at just $29.99.  So happy to add grey to my leather or faux ones which now includes, cream, blush, burgundy, and olive.   I had a beautiful rich purple one i had to give up due to the weight loss which  I’m on the lookout to replace.

These are my daughter’s new shoes that literally made her light up like a Christams tree and like she did when she was 8 ,put on immediately after paying for them…

These shoes were ones I purchased from Goodwill that my daughter saw and tried on and loved, so think I’m giving them up to her.  I have lots of shoes and she needs more grown up versions and since they fit despite our feet being a half size difference I am happpy to let them go.

Dear Readers, Like any of my finds for this week?  Are any of you looking ahead to Fall yet?  Tomorrow I will continue my series of styling my Olive Vest, so hope you’ll stop by.  There are so many things going on in my life right now and I am going to be super busy these next few days… Postings will be quick …

I am grateful to see the fruits of my friendship in which I have helped a friend go from victim to strong!  It’s been quite a journey!

I am grateful to my parents for teaching me what was right and wrong and what we deserve in our lives.

I am grateful for this blog and how much fun I have with other bloggers and the cyber friendships that are developing.

I am grateful to everyone who likes or comments on this blog ! thank you!

I like the dress. I’ve gotten into dresses and skirts recently and that dress looks comfortable. I also love the blue shirt. The neckline is pretty, and I love the color! I’ve never been to a BJs.

Thank you I have a family of 6 so shopping at Bj”s is a weekly thing for grorceries…

Great finds as always, but I love the black and white striped dress and you finally got your grey moto jacket. Can’t wait to see how you style it!

Thanks and yes I am excited for Fall and styling that jacket!

I look forward to reading your daily posts🌞

Thank you so much, it helps to know that someone is reading and cares enough to say so!

I especially like that t-shirt dress. And…no…I’m not looking toward fall. haha I wish summer could last forever. Of course, it’s cool enough here many days during our “summer” that I can still where a cardigan or long sleeves from time to time…so I don’t feel deprived of the layering look even in summertime.

I’ll trade you for my hot humid 90’s and then maybe Fall would be appealing and if that wasn’t bad enough I am having hot flashes…..

Great finds this week! I especially like the dress. You should check out Old Navy. They have quite a selection right now with 30% off! I also just got a great black and yellow striped T shirt dress at GAP for $7 on clearance! I am all about skirts and dresses right now and I don’t want to wear anything else. I know how much you love them, and I have finally jumped on that band wagon.

Great find yourself at that price. Now that you are on that bandwagon are you liking it and surprised at yoursefl??

Very. I’ve never been one to wear skirts! Jeans always seemed so much easier, and more comfortable. Well, I was so wrong. I am loving my skirts and dresses now! I have found so many great deals that my collection is really growing quickly. Once again, thanks for the inspiration!

So happy to hear this and grateful for your kind words!
