Olive Vest- Take 3

Posted on: July 12, 2013

With all the rain that began early this afternoon, I am happy that it tapered off and allowed me to take these photos today!

My tree was wet, so I kept my hand between my clothing and the tree… Super casual look this time as my plans for the day was to help a friend pack to move.  I don’t go this casual too often but it was comfortable and may be appropriate for an upcoming road trip…

IMG_0989This is just a a pair of Levi’s boyfriend capris from BJ’s and a simple tank top from Walmart and canvas plaid boat shoes I purchased at a mall shoe store that is now closed as the big name Off Broadway came in and when the mall raised the rent it had to go…

IMG_0993So glad that this is my last post for the week, gonna be a busy weekend.  We are attending The Rocky Horror Picuture Show tonight and I hope it’s as fun as I remember it being when I went in my twenties…Definitely not going to be the same since the thearter says “No Props allowed”  No rice, water guns, rubber gloves or playing cards… gonna definitely be different than in my twenties… off to go learn the Time Warp dance…

Dear Readers, I am so looking forward to a fun night as this has been a stressful week with the death of my husband’s uncle and the fact that he had been missing and found as a John Doe… This is his father’s youngest living brother and one of the two who taught my husband to drive…On to a more pleasant topic, Do any of you have memories of the Rocky Horror Picture Show and have I lost my mind in attending this????

Grateful

I am grateful that I was able to take these photos as it looked bleak for a while

I am grateful for the wonderful conversations with my best friend today.

I am grateful for the weekend and some fun plans.

I am grateful for my strong faith!

Love your casual outfit today, Tracey…especially those plaid canvas shoes. I have plaid slip on tennies that I wear quite a lot on my more casual days or for going on walks.
Have fun at Rocky Horror. I attended once when I was about 20 and had no idea what it was. Was in total shock and amazement the whole time. haha I just didn’t understand or “get it” at the time and didn’t understand the concept of audience partipation at a movie. lol I’ve watched it a few times since on tv though and have enjoyed it and the music.

I have these shoes in three diffferent color ways, this one has navy, I have one with cobalt and light pink and another with a more hot pink and black. They are great walking shoes.
I had a similar experience with Rocky Horrror in my 20’s and am really looking forward to this.. I may have to go a second time to really get it all. I’ve never seen the movie on tv, so don’t remember any of it. Shuld be a good experience..

Your plaid shoes are so fun! I really like your casual but polished look today. Have fun at the Rocky Horror show too! It sounds like you need a much needed break after a long week 🙂

Thank you Heather, I haven’t even mentioned the half of what i am going thorough this week… will explain more next week once it’s over… Tonight is a must for my sanity…:Looking forward to an silly, fun night!!!!

No props? Then it will just be a regular old movie. Hope they let you get out of your chair to time warp.
