Favorite July Outfits

Posted on: August 2, 2013

I don’t know about you, but it felt like the month of July flew by!   I liked a lot for this month including all of the last week!

I won’t repeat the ones from the last week, but really like all of those!

Dear Readers, Hope August creeps by but have a sinking feeling with the busy schedule and my adding in workouts at the Y and the vacation week mid month, that this is going to fly by and it will be back to sending my son to school for his senior year, while home schooling my youngest through 8th grade…

Have a wonderful Weekend and thank you for stopping by!

I am spending the day shopping with my daughter since it is TAX FREE WEEKEND, If any of you have a daughter who resists your every suggestion and has decided she wants to be nothing like her mother, you will understand both the joy and tribulations of this kind of day. I am so looking forward to the day when my daughter’s brain stops growing and she can see how silly she is sometimes.  I saw it happen with my oldest son and am just reminding myself we only have a couple more years to get there!!!

You rocked the olive green vest this month. Great looks! Have fun shopping with your daughter 🙂

Have you heard of thredup.com? It’s an online consignment shop with great prices. I have a $10 off code if they don’t still have the first order discount. They have many jackets, blazers, even the leather that you love. New items are added every day, so good luck.

Thanks, just what I needed another outlet to feed my obsession… I am so going to have to get going selling some things on Ebay to cover my fashion purchases.. I have a pile of things to list, just don’t know how to figure out the shipping…

My daughter has been selling things on eBay and she says they walk you through it. ThresHold also buys things, but of course they don’t pay very much.

thanks I’m going to try to start that next week…

That should say ThredUp buys things. I didn’t realize my kindle auto corrected me!

The second from the bottom is my favourite from this bunch – so very flattering. Although none of these beat you in that black and white striped dress for me!

Thank you! I love Calvin Klein dresses and have never been let down by them! Something my daughter completely agrees on..

Tax free weekend? Sounds really nice! The tax here in Ohio varies by county so you have to watch where you shop. We like to shop in the larger cities for a better selection, but the tax can be higher. I, too, went shopping with my girls today. The 15 yr old doesn’t like to shop so she grumbled the whole time, but she needed jeans for school. It’s like pulling teeth to get her to try anything on! My 20 yr old is shopping for household things for the house she is living in at college, moving back in 2 weeks. I love all the outfits and also how you put things together. Happy August! (I know, when did August get here? And where did July go?)
