Summer Brights!

Posted on: August 21, 2013

When you own both a shoe and purse in this wonderful bright green color, you need to find a skirt to match.. Well at least that’s what my brain told me!!   So when wanting something this specific thrifting was just not going to cut it… Time for EBAY!

This Ralph Lauren cute A-line cut was just the thing I was dreaming of…

Oops, holding the purse backwards…. with taking three outfits in one day and a super hot one at that, something has to fall short!

My hair was hating the terrible humidity on this day!

I bought this blue pendant charm at Michael’s craft store as I wanted something in the cobalt family.

Dear Readers, As a women who is not afraid to wear color, this outfit really felt so wonderful and would be something i would so want to repeat on a rainly or cloudy day to fight back!    Still enjoying my beach house vacation in Nags Head, NC.

Asking again for your help, with my Gratitude Section since I’ve prewritten these posts and will just be using my tablet to quickly post them daily…. Would love for you to share a comment of one thing you are grateful for today!

Chime in!  I am reading them and living them. My apologies for not replying, as my tablet covers up what I am typing with the key board and caused me too many typos.

Yah for brights and green skirts! I absolutely love my green skirt. I hope you are enjoying every bit of your vacation so far 🙂 Today I am grateful that Kayla was able to log into all her online college classes and is now officially a college student!

Whoo Hoo for Kayla being a college student… wasn’t aware she was doing it online…

I love those colors together. The necklace is beautiful!

The green and blue is a great combination. I am thankful today for the beautiful sunshine outside. I am also thankful for the inspirations that you and other bloggers provide each day to us. It is something I look forward to each day.
Enjoy the rest of your vacation.

Thank you so much for participating in sharing your gratitude! Bloggers really are full of inspiration and we are so lucky to be living in a time where this is accessible to us!

Tracey, You and I are so on the same wave length color-wise! Just yesterday I bought some cobalt blue skinny jeans (not exactly skinnes–more on that below) and wanted a cobalt blue necklace to wear with them. All the ones I saw were plastic and really cheap looking…ha ha, probably because they were cheap. Yours is really cute.
Back to the skinny jeans. Having a not-so-girlish body anymore, and I always did have large thighs, I haven’t been able to find skinny jeans that fit. Yesterday I finally did…not exactly skinny but tapered and close enough to give me the look. For anyone who’s interested, they are Gloria Vanderbilt tapered Amanda jeans, less than $40 regular price, but I was lucky enough to get them on sale for half price. I feel so up-to-date now!

My blush colored jeans are the GV Amanda style, I found mine at Sam’s Club for half that price!!!! Cobalt is going to continue to be big for Fall, and they are pretty versatile..
