Pinterest Inspirations- Thinking ahead to Fall

Posted on: August 22, 2013

I’ve been thinking a lot about Fall this past months as I didn’t go thrifting ,  but looked ahead and made some Fall purchases while I was able to find some great items online clearance..  I love shopping off -Season!

One of my recent purchase was a grey faux leather from Wilson’s on my Outlet Mall trip, which led to the following finds: :

Mint skinnies,grey jacket. Pretty combo

grey jacket over black top w/ white polka dot skirt & black tights.

grey jacket & yellow cardi

Dear Readers, I know the majority show more of a blazer or boyfriend jacket, but for my petite height I prefer shorter jackets  and besides jacket are a great way for me to get that edge I am looking for.   Do you own a grey jacket ?  If so , did you find any new inspiration here or which one is your favorite?   Do you have a favorite color combo to wear with Grey?   My favorites and go to looks with grey would be to pair it with pink or burgundy!

I’m on Vacation and will not be posting my daily Gratitudes!  I am grateful for making memories with my family !  Dear Readers, how about you inspire each other and post a comment below with something you are grateful for!  Would love to read those while on vacation!!!!

Great pinspirations! My favorite colors with gray would be yellow, orange or cobalt. I want to try out light pink or light blue this fall too. I am hosting a Pinned It and Did It link up next Thursday. You should do one of these looks with your jacket!

Love your Pinned it Link up and will think of something for Thursday!!!

My favorite color with gray would be pink or navy. I am grateful today for my daughter’s visit. I am grateful my husband listens when I really need him to. I am grateful for my home (not house, but my home). I am grateful for people who have fashion talent that inspire me who doesn’t have fashion talent. Maybe I can learn something from them. I am grateful for my desire to learn new things.

Had a great laugh on your gratitude for your husband listening! Something we should never take for granted!!! Thanks for sharing!

I love yellow with gray so I am in love with the photo you’ve shown with the yellow sweater under the jacket. I don’t have many jackets; I’m more of a cardigan girl. I’m very petite and jackets are just really big for me. Unless I find one in a girls size, and then those are not age appropriate for a 48 yr. old. Grateful that my oldest had a good week back at college.

I can see why you would stick to cardigan’s for the petite height… I would suggest trying to find some cropped jackets and you could just scrunch the sleeves. As for using the yellow and grey for inspiration, You couild just wear a top in either grey or yellow and the sweater in the opposite color. Thanks for sharing your gratitude… having a child in college and knowing the first week went well is something to celebrate!
