Our temps may be in the 80 and humid, but I am in AC and running errands with the same so decided to just go for it and embrace Monday my way!
I haven’t worn these red checked pants much and decided they neede to come out to play. I was just being a Mom on the Go today, so opted for my Aerosoles ballet flats in red floral. I wasn’t sure about the pattern mixing with the striped jacket at first, but think it turned out fine.
If you had told me, I ‘d be sporting 3 patterns in one outfit a year ago, I might have laughed…
The only thrifted item I have today is the incredible red purse that I searced months for and was just about to give up and try to find retail…
So glad I was patient because for $4 I can own more purses…
If you look closely, you can see my checked jeans… I love this necklace that has a shorter chain with a crystal then drops longer into multiple crystals with little black ones and a larger clear one. This necklace was part of a wholesale lot I purchased on Ebay last year.
Dear Readers, Thank you so much for all the wonderful birthday wishes, it meant a lot to me. i hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had a great one, but was sad to see an ambulance next door picking up my neighbor for the second time in two weeks. He is ok, but having seizures and can’t be left alone. Such a difficult thing for a gardner wife who flits about and is so busy. Saying prayers that they can stabilze the seizures with medication and give the entire family some peace. I never take health for granted after watching my father pass away so quickly when I was just 13. So dear readers, just wanted to share this thought with you,
Go Hug your loved ones and tell them how much you value them! We get busy sometimes and just need that reminder…
Gratitude
I am grateful for wonderful friends in the real and online world who took time to wish me a Happy Birthday!
I am grateful to my family for giiving me a wonderful day !
I am grateful for the break down in homeschooling today that lead to a breakthrough! So glad it happened early and meant we got the lesson learned at the beginning of the school year.
I am grateful for being a homeschooling mother and starting our day off with Yoga stretches.
I am grateful that I stuck to my guns and made him finish his homeschooling goals for the day, even though it took up too much of my day.
I am grateful to my daughter for being supportive in homeschooling my youngest today… She loves education and was a real help when I needed to take a breather. (go to the grocery store…)
