I also want to say that your boot collection is totally drool worthy! I adore boots and have more than I should, seeing as I live in the jungle that is Florida. I don’t have anywhere near as many as you do though. I am big on booties this year, and have bought 2 pairs, black and burgundy. Now I am longing for gray ones with a heel. Maybe…
(For some reason, bloglovin’ wouldn’t let me comment on your boot post)

Thanks for the positive inspiration today! I especially like the print about a bad attitude being a disability. It is so true. My 22 yr old son is severely autistic, but he is one of the happiest people I know. He had quite a few really bad years, but he is now doing so well, and he is happy and content. One of his many blessings is that he doesn’t know that anything is wrong with him. Life would be very different for him if he was bothered by people staring at him, or if he longed to be like everyone else. My attitude is something I am quite aware of lately. After his diagnosis at age 3, I spent WAY too many years wanting what I couldn’t have; for him to be a normal son. I suffered from depression and debilitating anxiety, until I started counting my blessings. I am grateful that he is (now) happy and healthy, that he wants for nothing, and that he still has hugs and kisses for his mom. He lives in his own apartment with a full time caregiver who he loves, and who loves him in return. All I want for my children is for them to be happy and healthy, and they are. I am indeed blessed.

my best friend had an Aunt who had Down Syndrome and we would take her out once a week. I was in my early 20’s at the time and was very taken by her innocence and the pureness of her spirit. She died from heart trouble and I was so grateful to have known her. We need these children in our world!
