Just returned from a dinner held by my husband’s new company and this is what I chose to wear:
Any chance this stay at home mother gets to wear a dress, she going to Go For It!
I love sweater dresses and this Forest Green one is a great cable knit and short sleeved so perfect for layering.
Chadwicks has this one currently and I like this one a lot.
We went from the lowest temps we’ve had in three years around twenty degrees to a high today of 62… And tomorrow(Monday) night we will drop to 13, which is unheard of in my area!
My son took these pictures and told me I look tired, but in reality it’s this swings in temperatures messing with my sinuses….At least I didn’t have headaches or any really issues other than looking tired!
Dear Readers, We had a nice dinner with the company and three of my kids were able to make it. We are all so excited for this opportunity and my husband’s new career path! We stopped by his office to finish a few things in his office…. All that’s left is to clear off his bookshelf to display his football collection and to hang pictures on the wall. This begins his first full week back with everyone returning from vacation and my first week back homeschooling after a three week break. Wish me luck, as wrangling a 13 year old and getting back into the swing of things is going to be tough…
Have any of you my Dear Readers, made any New Year’s resolutions?
Tomorrow I will reveal mine!
Gratitude
I am grateful that my family is close, loving and supportive.
I am grateful that after a phone call from the car repair place, saying they would have to order a part and keep my son’s car, that they figured out that it was easier and he got his car back before heading to school in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow.
I am grateful to get back into the swing of Homeschooling.
I am grateful that after this first week in full swing that we have weekend plans to celebrate our friend’s birthday to look forward to.
I am grateful for a fun weekend , laughter and family togetherness!
I am grateful that part of my husband’s perks of his new position is use of a company vehicle and here it is:

Happy New Year! This dress is a beautiful shade of green and I love it paired with navy blue.

We are having crazy temp swings too. It felt warm like Spring yesterday and it will be in the teens tonight. I live in Florida… we don’t do cold!!
