Dear Readers, while my sinus infection is not totally gone, I did manage to get dressed and venture out grocery shopping… I was exhausted afterwards , but hey I got dressed and wore jewelry!!!!
Linking up with Not Dead Yet Style’s Visible Monday
This is a new color combo for me, Navy and brown..
I didn’t even plan on this color combo, it just happened when I put together the jeans and the brown top and striped sweater…. I wanted a long necklace and thought it was a great chance to wear the navy one my son gave me for Christmas and one wasn’t enough so I added my sapphire pendant as well.
A beautiful spring weather in the 60’s was a good day to venture out…
I love my boots and, but I am itiching for Spring to pack them away and get into all those wonderful styles of shoes that I wear sockless….
While I was sick I was thinking about putting together some looks with green for this week to get ready for St. Patrick’s Day. With a 100% first generation Irish-American husband, this is a big deal in our family… Unfortunately for the first time in 23 years of marriage my husband will be out of town on the 17th….He will be enjoying warm temperatures in Orlando, Fl training for the new induatry he is happily immersing himself into..
Gratitude
I am grateful that I was able to get out of the house even if I was tired and worn out afterwards…
I am grateful that my husband dropped me off at Burlington Coat Facctory while he went for a haircut, then we met back up to go grocery shopping… ( I got a new white sheer blouse with matching white tank….
I am grateful that my kids all pitched in cleaning and making dinner while I was sick(my youngest even cooked a frozen pizza by himself instead of insisiting his brother do it, Progress!!!)
I am grateful that while I wasn’t up for homeschooling that we got caught up watching some History Channel shows we had on DVR on How the Earth Was Made that really brought to life a lot of the Geography he had studied….
I am also grateful that he finished reading one book and has started another… It’s our third year homeschooling and the fact that he is reading a book a week the last few weeks is so beyond what I could have imagined 3 years ago!!!! The best part is that he is reading books his brother read at this age in his Advanced English class!!!!!!!! Proving once again that he was right when he declared, “I don’t have a reading disability, they had a TEACHING Disability!!!
I am grateful that my husband is really enjoying his job and never feels overwhelmed despite a huge amount of responsibility!!! He actually thrives !!!
