Today, I realized how I’ve had this silly self imposed rule going on in my fashion life…
I have reserved this sheer kimono jacket for Spring and Summer to wear with tank tops,
but our Spring temps have been too cool for that…
Be Prepared… A rare photo without Sunglasses…
I broke that silly, ridiculous rule that was boxing me in and just paired it with a long sleeve t-shirt.
This t-shirt is actually a Kenneth Cole Reaction super soft one I found in packs of two, clearanced at BJ’s a few weeks ago for just $10…
I had to go grocery shopping today and loved the color combo of the red Rachel Zoe trench coat with my teal handbag.
The fedora was useful for the light drizzle I encountered while putting things in the car and taking them into the house….
I love the length of these sleeves as they still allow me to be a mother and get things done, I even cooked dinner without having to remove the kimono!
I bought this kimono last year , but want to note that my go to places for such items are both F21 and where I found this one, Steinmart…
Dear Readers, I think I succeeded in my goal of facing this rainy, grey depressing week
with Sass and Style!
While I love knee high boots for winter, there really is something light and feels much more spunky to me when wearing this cute above the ankle height!
Gratitude
I am so grateful to my son for going grocery shopping with me today.
I am grateful that my relunctant homeschooler finally buckled down and accomplished his assignments.
I am grateful that the fun capes I found on clearance for just $10 came today and I had fun trying them on, without the fur collar, which was too much for me… Link to photo here (if it sells out this link may not work)
I am grateful that my son suggested Chicken Parmesean for dinner and I made it the easy way with frozen breaded chicken planks and Ragu spaghetti sauce and they loved it and thanked me! (I love that I use whole wheat pasta and no one complains anymore)
I am grateful to a dear freind who texted me last night to tell me she had made me a piece of her beautfiul glass and made me feel loved when I wasn’t feeling so well….
