I have to say I am absolutely loving lightweight printed pants for Summer,
We live in such a humid area and they really are perfect !
Funny that all , but my shoes were online purchases…
The top and pants are both from F21 and the purse from 6pm.com…
The necklcace was bought from Ebay because those colors are all brights that I love and wear!
I wish I could post links to any of these items. but alas things tend to sell out quickly online…
Being in my late fourties it’s harder to try new things sometimes..
As is the story of the peplum top , which I avoided as an hour glass,
hippy woman thinking it wouldn’t work well on my my shape…
I’d still like to to try styling this with tighter bottoms,
like a pencil skirt or skinny jeans to give it a real test.
I had no issue trying the printed lightweight pants as I remember wearing these in the 90’s
and loving the pajama comfort!
Another option of course is Palazoo pants, which I’ve chosen not to invest in this season, as I have some wide leg linen pants that I’d like to get in rotation and am trying to cut back my shopping .
So my plan for longer bottoms for Summer are
two pairs of these printed pants, linen pants and maxi skirts!
I guess I should mention ankle pants as well, at least for evenings…
So Dear Readers, Do you like longer options for Summer
or are you more of a shorts and shorter skirt or capris type?
Would love to see your comments, they make my day!
Gratitude
I am grateful for the Summer Style Challenge and have gathered my clothing items and awaiting the ten day time period for everyone to do the shopping before the outfit suggestions begin arriving in my e-mails!
I am grateful that Monday is my son’s last day of school and then he graduates on Thursday! I can’t even begin to express how proud of I am and how honored I feel that God blessed me with this incredible young man!
I am grateful that I am more confident in my decision to homeschool my youngest through high school and in the plans I’ve made for him that will allow for writing time as well as teaching study skills.
I am grateful for the walk I took by myself to Burlington Coat Factory(where I picked up some winter clearance items). I love walking and the quiet time alone and really should do it more often….
I am grateful that I don’t take anything for granted and am grateful for Air Conditioning to survive our incredibly humid summers…

Thank you, I prefer a shorter look for Summer.
