My favorite outfits really are a good combination of feminine yet casual…
I think this outfit represents that pretty well!

I decided that throwing a loose crop t-shirt over a white lace dress , that I found at BJ’s last year , would be a great way to get those opposite Ying/Yang feeling I was after for the day…
If you are wary of wearing a cropped top, how about throwing it over a tight dress?
This t-shirt is a recent purchase from Aeropostle, not my usual place to shop, but when I saw it on a You Look Fab forum member I just had to get one… Unfortunately, it’s now sold out, but I was able to get it on clearance for just $5.99….
It ws only available in a XXlarge size, but of course in junior type sizing that is quite different… I did tie a small not in the back of the shirt, but could have worn it loose as well…
I wear alot of Navy and white together in Summer months and was delighted when I found this great striped handbag at Goodwill… It really is a great place for a fashionista who likes lots of handbag options to fill in with some unique ones. And don’t forget those wonderful prices of just $4.00!

Gratitude
I am grateful that my son’s helped clean up today!
I am grateful for the deli counter for sandwiches on hot Summer busy nights!
I am grateful that our schools host an overnight Gradfest event to keep students off the streets to help prevent drunk driving accidents that could rob anyone of their future!
I am grateful that my friend’s granddaughter was not injured or harmed in the Oregon school shooting today and that it was not as bad as it could have been… I am not at all making light of the loss of the student who died or the shooter and pray for their families!

I haven’t been on much-life has been crazy! Your haircut makes you look like a twin to one of my college roomates. I always thought you looked like her, but with this haircut, you 2 could be twins! 😉 I am excited to see your outfits for the Summer Style Me Pretty Challenge! I did the Spring Challenge–did you? I loved it, but decided not to do the Summer challenge, as we aren’t home much in summer. Life is way too busy for us, so I thought I’d definitely join back in for the Fall Challenge. 🙂

Thank you and too funny about the likeness to your college room mate! Glad to hear you enjoyed the challenge so much you want to do another! Looking forward to a break for a change of having to plan outfits with the graduation and this summer sending two kids off to college and grad school and testing my homeschooler!
