I really felt light and playful in this boho Pistachio colored skirt…
If only all outfits for Summer evoked that Feeling!!!!
I thirfted this skirt, purse and the grey short sleeved hoodie…
That hoodie began a new-found love for this woman who loves third completer pieces over tank tops for Summer.
After finding this one I hunted for others while thrifting with no luck, not to be deterred I hit Ebay and lo and behold I bought about 5 more… They add quite a sporty look for my Mom on the Go looks and really help to tone down my tendency to overdress….
The other thing I realized is that I can wear them in Fall and Winter to underneath a blazer like I did here with a long sleeved plaid hoodie my daughter no longer wanted… That being said, these are mostly in junior sizes so if you indulge in these make sure to size up!
These are my newest Sandals bought from Payless which has a 50% off Sandal sale right now.
If you haven’t tried Payless Comfort Plus line, I have to say I have sevear in this line and love them all because they truly are comfortable, even the pumps!!!!
It was cloudy this afternnon as storms were brewing , so a rare no sunglasses shot!
I also wanted to mention the lace polk a dot tank is from Old Navy and a recent purchase.
As a self proclaimed maximalist I have to say that I’ve freed myself from the “have to put on a necklace” old philosophy and chose to leave it off on purpose.
With the pattern mixing in the jacket and tank and the lace, enough was going on , so no necklace necessary!
This is how I wore another hoodie jacket I purchased from Ebay!
Gratitude
I am gratefful for the rain headed our way as it dropped our 90’s temps to the mid 70’s!
I am grateful that my oldest son is buying himself a bird and is having the fun of holding off getting it as they wean it , allowing him time to get a cage and really realize the commitment and go visit and learn more about his bird’s personality…
I am grateful that our homeschool bowling was canceled today as I really was too tired and went back to bed this morning!
I am grateful for the strength of my dear freind and the power of compassion and how it can literally help any situation!
I am grateful that I have a great wardrobe because I banged my little toe really good the other day and it is still swollen and not able to fit into the pumps I planned to wear tomorrow night (Thursday) to my son’s graduation… So this means an entire change of what I planned to wear!!!
I am grateful the graduation is upon as we are so ready to celebrate Nicholas!!!!!
