Graduation Celebration!
Posted June 13, 2014
on:I don’t think that has ever been a mother who is saying is this real? Somebody Pinch Me?
It seems like my husband and I talked about this for so long, to have our children set on the right path, and heading to college and their own futures…
Our Third Child is on His Way!
Humoring his mom before the ceremony as his friends were approaching..
60% of this graduation class of 428 wore the gold to signify honor grads!
His moment!
The sensational six!
The proud parents…
My four pride and joys!
Me and my siblings…
All missing our parents on days like this!
I am so going to miss this young man in a few months as he makes me laugh everyday and has the most kind, compassionate heart ever… He always knows just the right thing to say. He is a great mix of intelligence, humor and kindness and I know that anyone who has him as doctor once he reaches his goal will be darn lucky!
It has truly been my privilege and joy to raise this young man and I thank God every day for blessing me with him.
He truly is a mix of the best of me and his father!
Gratitude
I am so grateful for the health and well being of my family!
I am so grateful that we got the seats my son wanted for us, so we could see him as he marched in!
(he actually came home after the practice and drew me a picture)
I am so grateful for a day to celebrate this amazing young man!
I am grateful that his young man has great priorities and makes wonderful choices for himself!
I am grateful for the love my children all share for each other.
I am grateful for the overnight lock -in Gradfest Party to keep our children tonight!
I am grateful that the celebration isn’t over and we will have a get together next week for a nice meal since it was a late night graduation and didn’t happen tonight….
