Graduation Celebration!

Posted on: June 13, 2014

I don’t think that has ever been a mother who is saying is this real? Somebody Pinch Me?

It seems like my husband and I talked about this for so long, to have our children set on the right path, and heading to college and their own futures…

Our Third Child is on His Way!

Humoring his mom before the ceremony as his friends were approaching..

60% of this graduation class of 428 wore the gold to signify honor grads!

His moment!

The sensational six!

The proud parents…

My four pride and joys!

Me and my siblings…

All missing our parents on days like this!

I am so going to miss this young man in  a few months as he makes me laugh everyday and has the most kind, compassionate heart ever… He always knows just the right thing to say.  He is a great mix of intelligence, humor and kindness and I know that anyone who has him as doctor once he reaches his goal will be darn lucky!

It has truly been my privilege and joy to raise this young man and I thank God every day for blessing me with him.

He truly is a mix of the best of me and his father!

I am so grateful for the health and well being of my family!

I am so grateful that we got the seats my son wanted for us, so we could see him as he marched in!

(he actually came home after the practice and drew me a picture)

I am so grateful for a day to celebrate this amazing young man!

I am grateful that his young man has great priorities and makes wonderful choices for himself!

I am grateful for the love my children all share for each other.

I am grateful for the overnight lock -in Gradfest Party to keep our children tonight!

I am grateful that the celebration isn’t over and we will have a get together next week for a nice meal since it was a late night graduation and didn’t happen tonight….

Wonderful post, Tracey. I know you’re beaming with pride and love for your family. Raising a beautiful family is the highest and most rewarding achievement.

Congratulations to your son!! And how nice to see pictures of all your family members! 😊. Best wishes to him on his journeys in life.

Congratulations! You have a beautiful family and you and your husband are great parents 🙂

Thank you! The hardest job ever, but one we’ve loved every moment of!

Well, you done good mama. With the boy and the outfit (even with the bunged up toe). I can totally relate to all of these emotions. Our little boys are young men now!

Thanks Alison! With your’s being your first I know the mix of emotions… With this being my last since I am homeschooling the youngest the emotions are all over the place! Yes, they are both young men on their way to futures of their own choosing as we turn over the reigns!

Oh, you have every right to be proud. What a beautiful family!
