Today my niece and I went for a leisurely stroll…

We just went to the Dollar Tree for a few items and grabbed Frozen Lemonade for the walk back…

I’ve had this dress for many years.. 

And love wearing the top open with a contrasting colored tank underneath…

I add a belt these days to the empire waistband because this was before my weight loss and the waistband is now too loose by several inches..

I love this dress and own it in three colors and refuse to give them up…

Some days it’s great to grab such a casual easy dress….

I love these colors and the way the orange works with my hair..

I also like the cognac touches of the belt and my Payless sandals…

Dear Readers, I am up late writing this when I should be heading to bed

since my alarm goes off early tomorrow for our homeschooling bowling ….

So on to the Gratitude Section , so I can get going to dream land…

Gratitude

I am grateful for the fun walk and great conversation with my niece today.

I am grateful for the chance to play with my daughter’s boyfriend’s puppy…

I am grateful that my oldest came by for a visit today…

I am grateful for the compassion and kindness that I see exhibitedin my three adult children and the wonderful people they have become! 

I am grateful for these last days with my son before he heads off and our wonderful conversations…
