Mad About Plaid…

Posted on: August 7, 2014

I totally forgot about taking blog photos today….

In looking over Pinterest with my niece today,

I kept seeing outfits with plaid tops for Fall.

I love plaid and have high hopes to find something fabulous in Ireland…

This is Tommy Hilfiger.. Love the pink shoes…

#fallfashion #fashion #fall Following celebs wore the same outfit! Who do you think wore it better? Personally I think No1 with Emma Watson and Kim K. is the best! Click on photo to learn more.

There are several options in Dresses that look to be an upcoming trend for Fall..

a top left open like a jacket with a graphic tee and scarf is a great way to do plaid..

Here’s a version I did last Winter…

And another from last season…

My Pendleton thrifted blazer….

I loved this blazer so much, but wished for a shorter version and

invested in one by Lands End when I found it off season and can’t wait to style it…

My mother’s maiden name was Campbell, so the Blackwatch plaid is dear to my heart..

I have fond memories of wearing kilt skirts in this plaid complete with the brass pin,   as a young girl…

And my daughter’s plaid hoodie from last season…

Dear Readers, Do you like Plaid for Fall and Winter?

What are you most looking forward to wearing this Fall?

I am grateful for a fun day of bowling…only one more for my Nicholas to attend before he heads off to college..

I am grateful for the fun of looking at outfits for Fall with my niece on Pinterest…

I am grateful for my mother’s pride in her Scottish heritage and the love of plaid she passed on to me…

I am grateful my son did his eye exam and TB test results today..he was negative..

I am grateful my husband had a sale today and for all his hard work!

I am grateful my oldest yelled goodbye from the kitchen , then thought that wasn’t good enough and came in the laundry room where I was for a “better goodbye”  that included a nice hug…
