Hope everyone had a fun Halloween…
Here’s what I threw together at the last minute…
Thanks to my daughter who has a few witches hat in her closet…
I actually went to Walmart wearing this after the trick or treating hours were up…
Gotta give kudos to my 14 year old who encouraged me to wear my hat in the store instead of being embarrassed…
My Saturday morning outfit to go to a farm with homeschooling group for the corn maze…
I am not a big owner of hooded sweatshirts, but love my one from Blarney Ireland…
Didn’t get photos before heading out, so a blogger does what she has to do…
Late night at the grocery store….
Just in case you are interested..,.My newest purchase are these pants with faux leather accents from Old Navy
And my booties are Payless Comfort Plus Predictions..
I took this leather jacket on my Ireland trip as it truly is one of my favorites…
My friend remembered it from last season and again mentioned how much she loves it….
These Photos are all from cell phones, but the good news, is I finally located my missing camera….I had unpacked the suitcases and left it in an unusual place… So pictures moving forward should be better quality…..
Dear Readers…. The other day I wore a Ruana I found on clearance over the summer and got quite a bit of admiring looks at the grocery store….When I came home I mentioned that to my son who said….”There is just something about it that looks rich…” I think that really is something elegant about aRuana and went in search of a You Tube Video that would show ways to style one…
So, here is one I liked for your viewing pleasure….And I promise to style mine again and get photos this time….
Ponchos and Ruanas are making a great comeback this season and in my book never out of style and are always fabulous…

Gratitude
I am grateful for a weekend of family , friends and fun….
I am grateful that my youngest is having fun with the homeschooling group.
I am grateful that my husband will be taking Tuesday evenings off to take our youngest for bowling coaching…
I am grateful to be home from Ireland and getting back into football season…. I missed three games..
I am grateful for wonderful phone conversations with my younger brother, who I adore!
I am grateful beyond any mere words that my youngest is actually loving reading the Maze Runner series and is coming out after reading saying things like “This is really getting good!” or “Mom when I am done, you HAVE to read this book!”…. After what was happening in school, I could not have pictured this for him… My child who struggled reading is now excited about a book! Homeschooling is the hardest thing I’ve done as a parent, but by far the best choice I’ve made and what a way to finish all these years of mothering!!!!!!

Thank you! My children all have their father’s coloring of blonde hair blue eyes, so most people immediately say they look like him… but she has my eye shape and my single dimple..
