It’s funny how sometimes outfits evolve…
Today’s look began with the shoes, floral wedges by Aerosoles , motivated by my brain suggesting I should wear them now before winter hits
and all I am drawn to is my wonderful assortment of boots or booties..
I bought these wedges a few years ago and a search on the website revealed that alas they have the style , but only in solids..
I also tried to find a source for my Zac & Rachel shutter pleat blouse which I have found at both BJ’s and Burlington Coat Factory, but I couldn’t find an online source…
My knit blazer was from Sam’s Club last year and I have to say I know they have different versions this season as does BJ’s….
If you haven’t discovered a knit blazer yet, I highly recommend them..
Perhaps I am delusional, but my love of completer pieces could be clouding my judgement…
I love the knit blazers for my Mom on the Go lifestyle and think I can get away with them as being slightly more casual…
I only say that because my son has mentioned that I don’t dress like the other mother’s,
but he’s quieted down about that and seems to have accepted me just being myself….
Truth be told, I think he kinda likes that I dress my way and I hope that my example is something my children all benefit from..
I hope that it’s an example for my daughter to put herself on the list and not just care for others….
I hope that it shows my sons that if they have a stay at home mother for a wife,
to support her in being in touch with herself and not just being a mother and wife.
I know for me that I stand taller( funny to say at 5’3″) and walk with more confidence dressing my way…
Gratitude
I am grateful that I am feeling much better today… despite lack of sleep…
Note I write posts the night before and am happy to report that I slept the best since returning from Ireland last night and feel much better!
I am grateful for the homeschooling group and how great it is for my son.
I am grateful for a wonderful group of homeschooling mothers.
I am grateful for my blog and the outlet it gives me as a stay at home mother.
I am grateful to my mother for being a woman who always put herself on the list and showed me such a wonderful example! Miss you so much, MOM!

Great outfit. This really suits you and you look amazing. I love every piece you’ve chosen and how they each compliment one another so well. I really need to find some black slacks in this length, but I keep hoping to I lose these extra pounds before shopping for them….

Love your outfit and attitude! I haven’t found THE knit blazer for me yet, but I’m still trying – Sam’s Club you say?
I’ve kind of reverted back to my mom uniform (momiform?) of jeans and boring tees and have to remember that staying at home doesn’t mean I can’t have style.
