When your Sunday activities include taking down holiday decorations 

and a grocery store run, casual comfort is key.

When your sciatica is acting up, it’s time to break out the puma tennis shoes.  

In the end between the striped sweatshirt and sneakers, I created another sporty look…

I was so busy I didn’t get photos done until after grocery shopping around 7pm….

so a stop at lighted bank with an overhang was in order…

It was windy and sprinkling at the time..

I liked adding the purple vest and additional touches of purple in the hat and necklace..

I love the floral embroidery on this thrifted vest…

I haven’t been thrifting in a long time and the one thing I’ve missed is adding in a new vest for the season..

Not that I really need any, but it’s still nice to acquire them at such a bargain price

and they are always in excellent condition…

Dear Readers, taking the decorations down is certainly not my favorite weekend activity , but it sure was a lot easier to do with my husband home and the adult children home from college pitching in.. Speaking of those two, they both go back next Sunday, so a week more to enjoy them!  It’s going to a busy week of grocery shopping at Bj’s for snack foods, getting my son’s suit tailored, making a few dinner requests to fulfill their home cooked meal loves and they both want haircuts before leaving.. This week is going to fly by too quickly!  

Gratitude

I am grateful that everyone pitched in to help take the decorations down, it definitely made it a more enjoyable chore.

I am grateful that we had enough leftovers for easy deli sandwiches tonight.

I am grateful for the background of two football games, just enjoying the love of the game.

I am grateful for a beautiful warm day before the cold front moves in..

I am grateful that my dear friend made it home from her two week trip to Canada today, and am looking forward to hearing all about it..She hasn’t been back home in 8 years so a big deal!!!!
