Pastel and Black

Posted on: April 2, 2015

This outfit is in response to some chatter on my favorite fashion forum

You Look Fab

regarding wearing pastels with black.

I love these peach jeans I’ve had for a few years, and quite frankly,

I was relieved that I was able to squeeze into them with this weight gain..

My fringe tank is brand new found, Here on clearance.

I look forward to styling this top so much more when I can wear it without a jacket,

but I couldn’t wait until then…

It’s really going to fit in well with my love of the boho style  for the warmer seasons

The jacket is a lace bomber style that I bought last year and perfect weight for Spring.

Check out this gorgeous one I found on Amazon today..

Today was bowling day , so as usual, carrying my tote for my shoes.

So readers what do you think of pairing pastels with black?

When I searched Pinterest for other examples, here is what came up.

Gratitude

I have so much to be grateful for today….

I want to start with a wonderful moment when one of our homeschool teens got some tips from the coach, listened and applied them and scored her highest to date.. I don’t know who was more excited her or all of us. I literally got goosebumps watching her.

I am grateful that my husband didn’t work until this evening and was able to join us and get a chance to see why my son and I love this group of people so much.

I am grateful that we picked out the bowling balls for the kids today, and my son was able to get choose one with colors representing his favorite football team , The New England Patriots.

I am grateful that our Mom and daughter who’ve missed a few weeks due to medical problems with multiple family members were back with us today.

I am grateful that after bowling we went to the skating rink for another homeschool group and that all the kids did really well on skates, despite , not having done it in a long time… To be honest my son’s never skated outside our house.

I am grateful that my son ran into an old friend he’d met when he use to do theater and that they immediately chatted away and skated together.

I am grateful my husband mailed out the Easter packages for my two away at college today.

I am grateful for this wonderful group of parents and how much I keep wanting to pinch myself that we found each other.

I am grateful that my sinuses were much better today, not perfect but much better…
