Dear Readers, Hoping you all had a wonderful Christmas.

My husband surprised me by editing a previous Christmas video , so I could hear ‘my sister’s

voice and laughter and her doing her thing of exclaiming over gifts my children opened.

I found it very comforting and it made my day not as bad as I thought it would be.

I stayed in the moment with my kids, brother and niece and had the impending Steelers game

to look forward to late in the afternoon.

December 30th is my sister’s birthday, so yet another tough holiday around the corner.

I hope to begin blogging regularly January 1st as the distraction will be helpful.

Any favorite looks among these?

Would love to have you share yours so don’t be shy

make my day and comment away!

My very favorite is the last picture with the pale pink and gray! I’ve been reading about pastels in the winter being chic, and this is such a good look on you! My next favorite is the second pic with the long brown sweater and gorgeous boots! So glad Christmas had it’s good moments and will be thinking of you on the 30th. Today was my mother’s birthday. 28 years ago today was her funeral. I still miss her and am forever grateful for all she taught me!

We always miss those who we cherish, I know this all too well as my father passed when I was just 13. How hard her b’day must be since it was also a day of saying goodbye. i think the outfit with the brown sweater is wonderful with my coloring.

So hard to choose as you do an amazing job of coordinating your outfits! I love the classy look of the brown dress with baby blue belt. I also love the bright, fun red and purple outfit.
I pray that Kelly will comfort you with her spirit for her birthday and that you do something fun to acknowledge it…

Thank you Ginny, I am not sure how to honor her on her b’day . I had planned on doing a burn of all her papers regarding the abusive marriage and divorce, but not feeling that right now.

These are definitely some great picks from the year Tracey!
For some reason I am especially drawn to those lilac shoes—they are so unexpected and fun!!
Wishing you continued solace during this time. My heart still goes out to you and your family.

I , too, like the last outfit the best with the pink and gray. I also like the brown outfits, guess I am into more neutral looks. But I love seeing your colorful ones also.
What a thoughtful gift that your husband gave you. I am sure it was very emotional for you.
Looking forward to more postings again in 2017.

thank you!! I embraced more neutrals this year, but alas my heart sings for color so those will always be present too

HAPPY NEW YEAR TRACEY- I know it’s been a tough time lately, but I want to tell you how much I’ve appreciated your posts and your love of fashion! It’s made me more fearless..and it’s been fun! THANKS! God bless!

thank you Cindy, what an amazing compliment!
