A Great Remix Challenge Idea!
Posted March 10, 2013on:
Sarah at Sarah’s Real Life came up with this Take One on Pass it On Remix Challenge for February, but since I didn’t discover it until right before my Cayman trip and the month is now over, thought it might be fun for March… Just because you are late to the party doesn’t mean you can’t still join in the fun. It was windy when I took these photos and didn’t have many good options to choose from…
Like Sarah, I am not so keen on the idea of a 30 X 30 challenge as it is too restrictive for me. You can head over to the link above for how she describes it or Read on for my interpretation…
So here’s how it works:
Day 1 choose an outfit the way you normally do (I love pink and grey together, hence today’s choice)
Day 2 choose 1 piece or accessory to wear from Day 1 then add all new pieces (Look for the striped top in tomorrows look)
Day 3 choose a different piece from day 2 (not the same piece you re-wore already) keep doing this daily for the rest of the month…
Pretty Simple, huh? Sarah did recommend being more creative than choosing the jeans you already wear three days per week…What’s so great is you can alternate from choosing something as noticeable as a bright jean or as subdued as a belt…. Since I started the second week of the month due to my trip and will continue to the same time in April to do it for a full month. I hope some of you will join me in this fun challenge.
Dear Readers, If you do try this with me in March please be respectful and stop by Sarah’s blog to tell her you are inspired! And if you are a blogger leave me a comment so I can see how you are interpreting the challenge… If you are not a blogger and want to post pictures on my Facebook page, GO FOR IT!!!!
It’s Visible Monday, so don’t forget to head to Not Dead Yet Style and see what all the lovely ladies are blogging about today! And if you’re a fashion lover and up for more don’t forget Watch What I am Wearing!
Gratitude: I am grateful for the week I just had with my daughter home for Spring Break. I am grateful for Friday’s college visit to VCU with both my son who is a junior and my daughter who applied there for graduate school. I am grateful for all three of my oldest children knowing the importance of education and aspiring to such great heights and making my husband and I so proud.
